Puffbird weather

Hey guess what?

SNOW!

I’m wearing three dresses (and a cardigan and bloomers) and the top one is wool, so I am actually pretty warm!

This is currently my favourite outfit, and to think I was going to move this dress/pinafore thing on. So foolish! Of course I need clothes that can fit other clothes underneath.

I feel so library-snug in this combo.

My bedroom window looks out onto a lilac tangle and a hawthorne filled with ivy, and little birds are in it all the time. This morning when I was huddling for warmth a lady chaffinch was doing the same and she was round as a peach! She kept pawing her foot about; +balance or cosy toes? It was a hard choice.

Pinafore: 60s/70s vintage via etsy, cardigan: Oxfam, sweaterdress (not seen): H&M years back, silk-blend summer dress (bottom layer): Jack Wills sale, socks: Gap, boots: JTS biker clothing, mittens: Braderie vintage, Leamington Spa
